  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the agenda for the regular meeting of Council scheduled for October 20, 2025, BE ADOPTED.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the minutes of the regular Council meetings held October 1 and 6, 2025, BE ADOPTED as read on this day and that such minutes as read set out all of the business before Council at those meetings and fully and properly record all of the resolutions passed by Council at those meetings.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report dated October 7, 2025, from the Director of Planning and Development, titled “Monthly Building Permit and Development Permit Summary (September 2025)”.

STANDING COMMITTEE ON INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS - COUNCILLOR GARTH FRIZZELL, CHAIR
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVES the amended Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs Terms of Reference attached as Appendix “A” to the report dated August 25, 2025 from the Chair of the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs titled “Proposed Amendment to the Terms of Reference for the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs.”

    1. Order the nuisance abatement and cost recovery (as presented in the staff report to Council); or

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    1.  That pursuant to section 3.2(a) of City of Prince George Nuisance Abatement Bylaw 8940, 2018,  Council DIRECTS, by way of written ORDER, that Sau Wu and Josephine Lau (collectively the “Owners”), being the registered owners of the property with the civic address of 4235 Quentin Ave, Prince George BC and legally described as PID: 008-990-921, Lot C District Lot 2507 Cariboo District Plan 22244 (collectively the “Property”), immediately cease causing, or allowing to be caused, the following nuisance activities on the Property:

    a) The discarding and accumulation of garbage outdoors.

    b) Allowing dogs to run at large.

    c) Complaints of aggressive behavior from dogs.

    d) Excessive noise in the form of barking dogs, loud music, yelling, shouting, screaming and fighting; and,

    e) Camping on property, contrary to the City of Prince George Zoning Bylaw - Bylaw No. 7850.

    2. That, pursuant to section 3.2(a) of City of Prince George Nuisance Abatement Bylaw 8940, 2018,  Council DIRECTS, by way of written ORDER, that Beverly COTE (the “Tenant”), residing at a portion of the residence at the civic address of 4235 Quentin Ave, Prince George BC and legally described as PID: 008-990-921, Lot C District Lot 2507 Cariboo District Plan 22244 (collectively the “Property”), immediately cease causing, or allowing to be caused, the following nuisance activities on the Property:

    f)     The discarding and accumulation of garbage outdoors.

    g)    Allowing dogs to run at large.

    h)    Complaints of aggressive behavior from dogs.

    i)    Excessive noise in the form of barking dogs, loud music, yelling, shouting, screaming and fighting; and,

    j)    Camping on property, contrary to the City of Prince George Zoning Bylaw - Bylaw No. 7850'

    3. AND THAT Council DIRECTS that administration deliver to the Owners, a copy of the written order regarding the Property together with a notice that if a nuisance activity prohibited by the order is abated or caused to be abated by the City under section 3.3 of the City of Prince George Nuisance Abatement Bylaw 8940, 2018, then the cost of such abatement may be recovered from the Owners pursuant to sections 4.1 to 4.3 and Schedule “A” of that bylaw.

  • RECOMMENDATION #1:

  • RECOMMENDATION #2:

    That Council APPROVES discharge of Section 219 Covenant registered as Land Title Office Document No. CB1274791 from the legal title of 4922 Chief Lake Road, legally described as Lot 2, District Lot 2424, Cariboo District, Plan 33278.

City of Prince George Highways Bylaw No. 8065, 2008, Amendment Bylaw No. 9585, 2025

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council GIVES FIRST THREE READINGS of "City of Prince George Highways Bylaw No. 8065, 2008, Amendment Bylaw No. 9585, 2025."

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council:

    1. APPROVES that Administration complete the application process for grant funding under UBCM’s Strategic Priorities Fund Capital Infrastructure Stream to support Carrie Jane Gray Park Renewal Plan; and AUTHORIZES the City’s Financial Officer and Director of Civic Operations to sign grant application documents and any contract documents should grant approval be received;
    2. SUPPORTS the proposed Carrie Jane Gray Park Renewal Plan; and AUTHORIZES the Parks and Solid Waste Services division to provide overall grant management; and
    3. SUPPORTS any project cost over-runs.
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council approve the correspondence from Mayor Simon Yu to His Majesty King Charles III inviting consideration for the future appointment of His Royal Highness Prince George of Wales as Colonel-in-Chief of The Rocky Mountain Rangers.

  • RECOMMENDATION:
