    That the agenda for the regular meeting of Council scheduled for May 26, 2025, BE ADOPTED.

    That the minutes of the regular Council meeting held May 5, 2025, BE ADOPTED as read on this day and that such minutes as read set out all of the business before Council at that meeting and fully and properly record all of the resolutions passed by Council at that meeting.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report dated May 15, 2025 from the Director of Civic Operations titled "Snow and Ice Control Costing Breakdown (November 1st to December 31st, 2024) - Additional Detail.

  • RECOMMENDATION:
    1. That Council DIRECTS Administration to return a report to Council by June 23rd that outlines a plan to deliver a fun, financially accessible, safe, and community-oriented public event as part of the CN Centre’s 30th Anniversary celebration, to be hosted around September 30th, 2025.
    2. That Council DIRECTS Administration to explore partnerships or potential funding opportunities in support of the celebration.
    3. That Council EXPRESSES its intent to consider funding this celebration through Council Contingency, contingent upon the proposed plan outlined in the report demonstrating widespread accessibility, strong community impact, and sound budget justification.

    1. Registration of a Section 219 Covenant on the legal title of Lot 23, District Lot 4047, Cariboo District, Plan 11060 that restricts the density to a maximum of 5 dwelling units.

  • RECOMMENDATION #1:

    That Council GIVES FIRST READING to “City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9549, 2025.”

  • RECOMMENDATION #2:

    That Council CONSIDERS “City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9549, 2025”, in conjunction with the current Financial Plan and confirm there are no issues.

  • RECOMMENDATION #3:

    That Council CONSIDERS “City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9549, 2025”, in conjunction with the current Regional District Solid Waste Management Plan; and confirm there are no issues.

  • RECOMMENDATION #4:

    That Council CONSIDERS “City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9549, 2025”, in conjunction with the City of Prince George Strategic Framework for a Sustainable Prince George and confirm there are no issues.

  • RECOMMENDATION #5:

    That Council GIVES SECOND READING to “City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9549, 2025”.

  • RECOMMENDATION #6:

    That Council APPROVES the following public consultation process to fulfill the requirements of Section 475 of the Local Government Act:

    1. Request for written comment from properties identified on Exhibit “A” to CP100214; and
    2. Publish notification of public consultation in accordance with the “City of Prince George Public Notice Bylaw No. 9329, 2022”.
  • RECOMMENDATION #7:

    That Council EXPANDS from 30 metres distance to the notification area shown on Exhibit “A” to CP100214, as required in the "City of Prince George Development Procedures Bylaw No. 9423, 2023", for the mailing of notice of the public hearing for the "City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9549, 2025" and "City of Prince George Zoning Bylaw No. 7580, 2007, Amendment Bylaw No. 9550, 2025."

  • RECOMMENDATION #8:

    That Council GIVES FIRST AND SECOND READING to “City of Prince George Zoning Bylaw No. 7850, 2007, Amendment Bylaw No. 9550, 2025”.

  • RECOMMENDATION #9:

    That Council PERMITS the Public Hearing for proposed Bylaw No. 9549, 2025 BE WITHHELD until the following requirements have been met to the satisfaction of Administration:

    1. Receipt of a Servicing Brief
    2. Receipt of a Traffic Impact Study

    In addition, any recommendations presented in the preceding items must be addressed to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning and Development.
