    That the minutes of the regular Council meeting held June 9, 2025, BE ADOPTED as read on this day and that such minutes as read set out all of the business before Council at that meeting and fully and properly record all of the resolutions passed by Council at that meeting.

    That Council APPROVES the City of Prince George Annual Report for the year ended December 31, 2024, attached as Appendix "A" to the report from the City Manager dated June 16, 2025 titled "City of Prince George 2024 Annual Report."

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVES the Northern Sport Centre Limited Shareholders’ Resolutions attached as Schedule “B” to the report dated June 16, 2025 from the City Manager titled “Northern Sport Centre Limited Annual Report”; and AUTHORIZES the City Manager to sign the Shareholders’ Resolutions, as of June 30, 2025.

DIRECTOR OF CIVIC FACILITIES AND EVENTS - ANDY BEESLEY
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVES up to $30,000 from the Major Events Reserve Fund in cash and in-kind support for the site visit activities scheduled in October 2025 to promote the City of Prince George to be selected as the host City for the 2030 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVES up to $15,000 from the 2025 Council Contingency fund to support the CN Centre 30th anniversary event as described in the report dated June 12, 2025, from the Director of Civic Facilities and Events titled “CN Centre 30th Anniversary”.

    That Council RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report dated April 25, 2025, from the Director of Planning & Development, titled “Response to Resolutions for Prince George Heritage Commission 2024 Annual Report".

    1. Vary Section 10.2.5 7. by decreasing the minimum exterior side yard setback from 3.0 m to 1.2 m, as shown on Exhibit “A” to VP100700.

City of Prince George Zoning Bylaw No. 7850, 2007, Amendment Bylaw No. 9561, 2025

  • RECOMMENDATION #1:

    That Council GIVES FIRST THREE READINGS of “City of Prince George Zoning Bylaw No. 7850, 2007, Amendment Bylaw No. 9561, 2025”.

  • RECOMMENDATION #2:

    That Council PERMITS Final Reading for proposed Bylaw No. 9561, BE WITHHELD until the following requirement has been met to the satisfaction of Administration:

    1. receipt of a Section 219 Covenant that restricts the use of 101 George Street to “Parking Non-Accessory” and an option to purchase in favour of the City to purchase the land back for $1.00 if the Section 219 Covenant is breached.

    In addition, any recommendations presented in the preceding item must be addressed to the
    satisfaction of the Director of Planning and Development.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVES the 2024 Public Bodies Report attached to the report dated June 13, 2025 from the Director of Finance and IT Services titled "2024 Statements of Financial Information (SOFI)".

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council GIVES FIRST THREE READINGS of “City of Prince George 5 - year Operating and Capital Financial Plans Bylaw No. 9464, 2024, Amendment Bylaw No. 9540, 2025”.
