    That the agenda for the regular meeting of Council scheduled for July 14, 2025, BE ADOPTED.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the minutes of the regular Council meeting held June 23, 2025, BE ADOPTED as read on this day and that such minutes as read set out all of the business before Council at that meeting and fully and properly record all of the resolutions passed by Council at that meeting.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council:

    1. DIRECTS administration to hold an event targeted at the social services sector late August/early September as a measure to increase connectivity between groups, and also with our own City resources; as well, to show appreciation for the challenging work undertaken by this sector; and
    2. That a budget of $2,500 be made available from Council Contingency for this event, and that Council DIRECTS administration to seek out any appropriate partnership to host the event.

    That Council APPROVES Development Variance Permit No. VP100701 to vary “City of Prince George Zoning Bylaw No. 7850, 2007” for the property legally described as Lot 11, District Lot 4028, Cariboo District, Plan 24401 as follows:

    1. Vary Section 9.5.6 1. by increasing the maximum total combined gross floor area of accessory buildings and structures on a site from 90.0 m2 to 152.2 m2, as shown on Exhibit “A” to VP100701.
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report dated June 24, 2025 from the Director of Planning and Development, titled “Response to Council Resolutions: Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 9525”.

DIRECTOR OF CIVIC OPERATIONS - BLAKE MCINTOSH
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVES a budget amendment to increase the 2025-2029 Financial Plan for Project #0431 Mobile Equipment Replacement from $4,178,000 to $4,928,000 with the additional $750,000 to be funded from the Solid Waste Reserve Fund as described in the report to Council dated June 12, 2025 from the Director of Civic Operations, titled “Solid Waste Services – Unit Replacement”.

DIRECTOR OF CIVIC FACITILITES AND EVENTS - ANDY BEESLEY 
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVES funding support from the City of Prince George of $40,000 from the Major Events Reserve Fund as outlined in the report dated June 30, 2025, from the Director of Civic Facilities and Events titled “Caledonia Nordic Ski Club hosting 2026 Olympic Trials.”

MANAGER OF LEGISLATIVE SERVICES/CORPORATE OFFICER - ETHAN ANDERSON
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVES the Committee of the Whole recommendation made at the June 25, 2025 Committee of the Whole Meeting, as attached to the report dated June 26, 2025 from the Manager of Legislative Services/Corporate Officer titled “Committee of the Whole Decisions – June 25, 2025.”

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council:

    1. AUTHORIZES the establishment of an Advisory Committee on Council Remuneration as required by “City of Prince George Council Remuneration Bylaw No. 8414, 2012”, to conduct an independent review of Council remuneration with any adjustments that Council may approve, to be effective January 1, 2027;
    2. APPROVES the draft Advisory Committee on Council Remuneration Terms of Reference attached as Appendix “A” to the report dated June 25, 2025 from the Manager of Legislative Services titled “2026 Council Remuneration Review”
    3. DIRECTS Administration to advertise inviting community members to apply for a position on the Advisory Committee on Council Remuneration.
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council GIVES FIRST THREE READINGS of “City of Prince George Indemnification Bylaw No. 8522, 2013, Amendment Bylaw No. 9562, 2025.”

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council GRANTS FINAL READING AND ADOPTION of "City of Prince George 5-Year Operating and Capital Financial Plans Bylaw No. 9464, 2024, Amendment Bylaw No. 9540, 2025."

In accordance with City of Prince George Council Procedures Bylaw No. 8388, 2011, notice of the proposed motion is provided. The proposed motion will be included on the July 28, 2025 Council Meeting agenda for Council's consideration.

Request for Support of Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM) Resolution regarding Modernization of Wastewater Regulations.

Request a resolution of support regarding an application to the Northern Development Initiative Trust (NDIT) Recreation Infrastructure grant program for the Prince George Family YMCA.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT, the City of Prince George supports the application to Northern Development Initiative Trust from YMCA BC for $300,000 for the Prince George YMCA Facility Enhancement Project.

Payment letter regarding 2024 CEPF: Emergency Operations Centres Equipment and Training – EOC Training/Exercises and Equipment modernization

Letter of support on behalf of the City of Prince George, endorsing the bid to host 2026 Canadian Native Fastball Championships.

    That there being no further business the Regular Meeting of Council, BE ADJOURNED.
