    That the agenda for the regular meeting of Council scheduled for  January 12, 2026, BE ADOPTED.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the minutes of the regular Council meeting held December 15, 2025, BE ADOPTED as read on this day and that such minutes as read set out all of the business before Council at that meeting and fully and properly record all of the resolutions passed by Council at that meeting.

    That Council RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report dated December 30, 2025 from the Chair of the Standing Committee on Public Safety, Mayor Simon Yu, titled “Committee Referral – Security Alarm System Bylaw."

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report dated December 18, 2025, from the Chair of the Standing Committee on Public Safety, Mayor Simon Yu, titled, “Prince George Fire Rescue Services – Response to Overdose and Medical Calls”.  

STANDING COMMITTEE ON INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS - COUNCILLOR GARTH FRIZZELL, CHAIR
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council DIRECTS Administration to prepare a Downloading Report to be used by Council and Staff as an advocacy tool as described in the report dated January 6, 2026, from the Chair of the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs, titled “Downloading Report Advocacy Tool”.

City of Prince George Stormwater Utility Bylaw No. 9597, 2025 

  • RECOMMENDATION #1:

    That Council RESCINDS THIRD READING of “City of Prince George Stormwater Utility Bylaw No. 9597, 2025”.

  • RECOMMENDATION #2

    That Council AMENDS “City of Prince George Stormwater Utility Bylaw No. 9597, 2025” by inserting new Section 6(1)(b) as follows and re-lettering subsequent subsections accordingly:

    “6(1)(b)  All properties that are not in any way connected to any part of the Stormwater System, or do not in any way benefit from any part of the Stormwater System, as determined by the Director;”.

  • RECOMMENDATION #3:

    That Council GIVES THIRD READING AS AMENDED of “City of Prince George Stormwater Utility Bylaw No. 9597, 2025.”

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council AMENDS the 2026 Council Meeting Calendar by adding a Committee of the Whole meeting on March 3, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. for the purpose of adjudicating the 2026 Limited Duration Operating Grant Program.
