  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the agenda for the regular meeting of Council scheduled for October 3, 2022, be amended by adding new agenda item D.6.1, new agenda items E.6 and E.7, and adding an attachment to agenda item D.9 regarding “Jumpstart Multisport Court Project Capital Budget 2022”, and that the agenda, BE ADOPTED AS AMENDED.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the minutes of the special Council meeting held September 21, 2022, BE ADOPTED as read on this day and that such minutes as read set out all of the business before Council at that meeting and fully and properly record all of the resolutions passed by Council at that meeting.

  • RECOMMENDATION #1:

  • RECOMMENDATION #2:

    That Council PERMITS the Final Reading for proposed Bylaw No. 9340, 2022 BE WITHHELD until the following requirements have been met to the satisfaction of Administration:

    1. Receipt of a Servicing Brief;
    2. Receipt of Traffic Impact Study; and
    3. Registration of a Section 219 Covenant that restricts a “wrecking yard” use as defined under City of Prince George Zoning Bylaw No. 7850, 2007.

    In addition, any recommendations presented in the preceding items must be addressed to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning and Development.

    1. Vary Section 12.2.5 2. by increasing the maximum height of development from 12.0 m to 13.8 m as shown on Exhibit “A” to VP100629. 
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council DIRECTS Administration to include consideration of the request to remove the proposed Massey Drive and Foothills Boulevard road extensions and designate “Ginter’s Meadow” from 18th Avenue to Ferry Avenue as Parks and Open Space, as part of the review and renewal of the Official Community Plan in 2023.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report dated September 23, 2022 from the Director of Civic Operations titled "Bear Resistant Cart Pilot Project Update."

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVES the addition of the “Jumpstart Multisport Court Project” as detailed in the report dated September 21, 2022 from the Director of Civic Operations titled “Jumpstart Multisport Court Project Capital Budget 2022” to the 2022 – 2026 Financial Plan with a budget of $1,425,000 to be funded by $950,000 from 3rd Party Funding and $475,000 from the Northern Capital and Planning Reserve Fund.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVES a budget amendment to the Mobile Equipment Replacement Project budget with an addition of $32,267 in expenses to be funded by the Mobile Equipment Replacement Reserve Fund for the purchase of four Parks Ground Master Mowers (RFP-P22-048).

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council GRANTS FINAL READING AND ADOPTION of "City of Prince George Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 9075, 2019, Amendment Bylaw No. 9343, 2022."
