  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council DIRECTS Administration to report back on how the City can increase our transparency by disclosing who the owners and directors are for numbered companies when buying City land. This same standard would apply to land use applications that come before council at a public meeting.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council SUPPORTS submitting an application for the Union of BC Municipalities 2023 Community Excellence Awards in the Excellence in Governance category for the recently completed Canfor Leisure Pool and its associated multi-year engagement process.

  • RECOMMENDATION #1:

    That Council GIVES FIRST READING of "City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9371, 2023.”

  • RECOMMENDATION #2:

    That Council CONSIDERS “City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9371, 2023”, in conjunction with the current Financial Plan and confirm there are no issues.

  • RECOMMENDATION #3:

    That Council CONSIDERS “City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9371, 2023”, in conjunction with the current Regional District Solid Waste Management Plan; and confirm there are no issues.

  • RECOMMENDATION #4:

    That Council CONSIDERS “City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9371, 2023”, in conjunction with the City of Prince George Strategic Framework for a Sustainable Prince George and confirm there are no issues.

  • RECOMMENDATION #5:

    That Council GIVES SECOND READING of “City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9371, 2023”.

     

  • RECOMMENDATION #6:

    That Council APPROVES the following public consultation process to fulfill the requirements of Section 475 of the Local Government Act:

    1. Request for written comment from properties identified on Exhibit “A” to CP100196; and
    2. Publish notification of public consultation in accordance with the “City of Prince George Public Notice Bylaw No. 9329, 2022”.
  • RECOMMENDATION #7:

    That Council GIVES FIRST AND SECOND READINGS of “City of Prince George Zoning Bylaw No. 7850, 2007, Amendment Bylaw No. 9372, 2023."

  • RECOMMENDATION #8:

    That Council PERMITS that consideration of Final Reading of proposed Bylaw No. 9371 and Bylaw No. 9372 BE WITHHELD until the following requirements have been met to the satisfaction of Administration:

    1. Receipt of a Servicing Brief;
    2. Receipt of a Traffic Impact Analysis; and
    3. Registration of a Section 219 Covenant on the legal title of Lot 1, District Lot 2611, Cariboo District, Plan BCP36922 that:
      1. Limits density of the proposed development to no more than 75 units/ha; and
      2. Restricts development on the subject property, as shown on Exhibit “A” to RZ100779.

    In addition, any recommendations presented in the preceding items must be addressed to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning and Development.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the City of Prince George SUPPORTS the Economic Infrastructure program application to Northern Development Initiative Trust submitted by the Prince George Airport Authority for a grant of up to $300,000 for the Equipment Storage Expansion project.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That there being no further business the Regular Meeting of Council, BE ADJOURNED.
