  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the agenda for the July 15, 2024 Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs meeting, BE ADOPTED.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the minutes of the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs meeting held May 21, 2024 be adopted as read on this day and that such minutes as read set out all the business before the committee at that meeting and fully and properly record all of the resolutions passed by the committee at that meeting.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

        
    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report titled “Recuperation of Tax Values from School Based Childcare Centers – July 2024 Update”, dated May 13, 2024.

  • RECOMMENDATION #1:

    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION this report titled, “Update on Municipal Role in Fighting Human Trafficking – July 2024”, dated July 5, 2024.

  • RECOMMENDATION #2:

    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs RECOMMENDS TO COUNCIL the attached draft motion to declare intimate partner violence an epidemic in the City of Prince George attached to the report titled, “Update on Municipal Role in Fighting Human Trafficking – July 2024”, dated July 5, 2024.

  • RECOMMENDATION #3:

    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs RECOMMENDS TO COUNCIL joining the BC Human Trafficking Prevention Network by signing a statement of support substantially similar to the statement attached to the report titled, “Update on Municipal Role in Fighting Human Trafficking – July 2024” dated July 5, 2024.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report titled “Updates to the Committee Work Plan and Calendar”, dated July 5, 2024. 

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report titled “2024 Budget Referrals – Follow Up Report”, dated July 5, 2024.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That there being no further business, the meeting of the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs BE ADJOURNED.
