  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the agenda for the September 24, 2024 Standing Committee on Public Safety meeting, BE ADOPTED.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the minutes of the Standing Committee on Public Safety meeting held August 20, 2024 be adopted as read on this day and that such minutes as read set out all the business before the committee at that meeting and fully and properly record all of the resolutions passed by the committee at that meeting.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the Standing Committee on Public Safety RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report titled “Community Policing / Block Watch Supplemental Report”, from the Director of Administrative Services, dated September 13, 2024. 

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the Standing Committee on Public Safety RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report titled “Common File Types – Administrative Services” from the Director of Administrative Services dated September 13, 2024. 

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the Standing Committee on Public Safety RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report titled “Release Procedure – BC Corrections”, from the Director of Administrative Services dated September 13, 2024.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the Standing Committee on Public Safety RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report titled “Emergency Services - Calls for Service” from the Director of Administrative Services dated September 13, 2024. 

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the Standing Committee on Public Safety RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report titled “RCMP and Bylaw Collaboration and Roles” from the Director of Administrative Services dated September 13, 2024. 

  • RECOMMENDATION #1:

    That the Standing Committee on Public Safety RECOMMENDS that Council RECEIVES FOR CONSIDERATION the Security Camera Pilot Program Proposal by the Prince George Downtown Business Improvement Association and the Prince George Chamber of Commerce as attached to the report to the Standing Committee on Public Safety dated September 12, 2024 from the City Manager, titled “Security Camera Pilot Program Proposal”.

  • RECOMMENDATION #2:

    That the Standing Committee on Public Safety REQUESTS administration provide information to Council on potential funding sources, obstacles and opportunities, as well as the feasibility of using a Partnering Agreement to deliver the program in relation to the Security Camera Pilot Program as attached to the report to the Standing Committee on Public Safety dated September 12, 2024 from the City Manager, titled “Security Camera Pilot Program Proposal".
