  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the agenda for the May 8, 2026 Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs meeting, BE ADOPTED.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the minutes of the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs meeting held April 7, 2026 be adopted as read on this day and that such minutes as read set out all the business before the committee at that meeting and fully and properly record all of the resolutions passed by the committee at that meeting.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report dated April 27, 2026, from the Chair of the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs, titled “2026 UBCM Resolutions”.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report dated April 28, 2026, from the Chair of the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs, titled “2026 Delegation to Victoria Report”.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report dated April 29, 2026, from the Chair of the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs, titled “Highway 97 Road Safety, Maintenance, Upgrades and Infrastructure”.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report dated April 28, 2026, from the Chair of the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs, titled “2026 Economic Development Submissions to Federal Budget”. 

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs:

    1. RECOMMENDS that Council endorse the letter from the City of Dawson Creek regarding the Request for an Independent Expert Led Review of Universal Mental Health Care in British Columbia; and
    2. AUTHORIZES the Mayor to co‑sign the letter on behalf of Council.

      

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That there being no further business, the meeting of the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs BE ADJOURNED.
