  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the agenda for the March 3, 2026 Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs meeting, BE ADOPTED.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the minutes of the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs meeting held February 3, 2026 be adopted as read on this day and that such minutes as read set out all the business before the committee at that meeting and fully and properly record all of the resolutions passed by the committee at that meeting.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report titled, “Municipally Administered Medical Clinics” from the Chair, dated March 3, 2026. 

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report titled, “Funding update for the Little Prince Train Shelter” from the Chair, dated February 13, 2026. 

  • RECOMMENDATION #1:

    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs DIRECTS staff to proceed with submitting input to the Canadian Forest Sector Transformation Task Force by March 16, 2026, as detailed in the report dated February 18, 2026 from Councillor Frizzell, Chair, titled, “Forestry Sector Issues".

  • RECOMMENDATION #2:

    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs DIRECTS staff to develop a strategy to support upcoming strategic engagements with provincial and federal ministers as detailed in the report dated February 18, 2026 from Councillor Frizzell, Chair, titled, “Forestry Sector Issues".

  • RECOMMENDATION #3:

    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs SUPPORTS the Forestry is a Solution initiative by writing in support of the campaign to the relevant provincial authorities as detailed in the report dated February 18, 2026 from Councillor Frizzell, Chair, titled "Forestry Sector Issues."

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs APPROVES the addition of three (3) resolutions from council to the 2026 Work Plan as attached to this report dated February 17, 2026, from the Chair of the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs, titled “Updates to the 2026 Committee Work Plan”. 

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That there being no further business, the meeting of the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs BE ADJOURNED.
