  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the agenda for the regular meeting of Council scheduled for May 10, 2021, be amended by replacing the correspondence at agenda item F.1 and that the agenda, BE ADOPTED AS AMENDED.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the attached minutes of the regular Council meeting held April 26, 2021, be adopted as read on this day and that such minutes as read set out all of the business before Council at that meeting and fully and properly record all of the resolutions and bylaws passed and adopted by Council at that meeting.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report dated May 3, 2021 from the Acting Deputy City Manager titled “Monthly Building Permit and Development Permit Summary (April 2021)”.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVES the proposed resolution attached to the report dated May 4, 2021, from Mayor Lyn Hall, titled “Endorsement of Councillor Frizzell as the past president on the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Board of Directors.”

2022 BC SUMMER GAMES NOMINATION SELECT COMMITTEE - MAYOR LYN HALL, CHAIR
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council:

    1. RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the 2022 BC Summer Games Nomination Select Committee’s appointment of individuals to the Board of Directors of the 2022 BC Summer Games; and

    2. DISSOLVES the 2022 BC Summer Games Nomination Select Committee, as the Committee has achieved the objectives outlined in its mandate as defined in the Committee's Terms of Reference.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council:

    1. ENDORSES for submission to the 2021 UBCM convention, resolution number 1 titled “Increased Capacity at the National Forensic Lab Services” set out in Schedule “A” to the report dated April 30, 2021 titled “Proposed 2021 Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM) Resolutions”;
    2. ENDORSES for submission to the 2021 UBCM convention, resolution number 2 titled “Capacity in Federal and Provincial Court Systems” set out in Schedule “A” to the report dated April 30, 2021 titled “Proposed 2021 Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM) Resolutions”; and

    3.   • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council:

    1. GIVES FIRST READING to “City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9184, 2021";
    2. CONSIDERS “City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9184, 2021”, in conjunction with the current Financial Plan and confirm there are no issues;
    3. CONSIDERS “City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9184, 2021”, in conjunction with the current Regional District of Fraser Fort-George Solid Waste Management Plan and confirm there are no issues;
    4. CONSIDERS “City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9184, 2021”, in conjunction with the City of Prince George Strategic Framework for a Sustainable Prince George and confirm there are no issues;
